General Information:

Name: Yukimura Ragu

• Nickname/Alias: Basilisk

General Appearance: Yukimura Ragu, Basilisk as he normally called, is a very young handsome and well put together individual. He has long black hair which he keeps tied so it doesn't get in his way when he walks around or when the wind blows. He is very calm light brown eyes, that hold a mystery with them as if it was more to them than what is being seen. He stands at about 6'0 tall and 185lb, he keeps himself in shape so his body is well toned with very little body fat, if any at all. He has no scars on his face but his body is many due to the hard training regiment he , as well as many other children from the clan, are but through. He has a large tattoo of a snake with 2 tentacles and a jewel on the forehead, located on his back.

He wears a tradition ninja attire nothing fancy. He has dark blue pants and laced sandals that wrap around the shin so that the lower half of the pants don't flap around as he walked. The shirt he wears is a lighter shade of blue and is longed sleeved, as well as tucked into the pants also to help the flopping issue. Over his shirt he wears a white sleeveless jacket and it length stops just below waist. He carried 2 katanas with him which he names Ryoko and Ryoki. He has a small thin wire that connects to the swords that can't be noticed unless the sun light hits the wire in a certain angle. Also he has another wire that he can pull that makes his weights fall off his body without hm having to take the time to unbuckle them, this wire is also very thin and hard to see.

Personality: Basilisk is a very calm and collected individual, he is very docile and rarely starts trouble. He has a certain lust for battle as all the people in his clan do, but he has more control over this urge. He doesn't hesitate to defend his beliefs and the the beliefs of his clan. Due beliefs of the clan (will be stated in the clan info), he has a mature mentality and prefers not to get in any unnecessary quarrels. He fears only that he will bring shame to his clan. He reacts to hyper like people with alot of interest, he thinks them very amusing. He is, however, more drawn to people similar to himself and often times only speak to these types. He does not shy away from friendship, and will open up to anyone if they have the right attitude. He isnt very romantic but he does know how to treat a lady, due to this he has a bad habit of not hitting girls unless given no choice. He is a firm believer in honor and valor believing that this is the way life must be lived. Basically he will never do any action that would dishonor him in anyway.

When in battle is attitude changes completely, he because a emotionless deliverer of death. He never feels bad about killing a foe if they wished him death as well. When on a mission he remains focused on the objective, he doesnt get tunnel vision but he is rarely put in position to forget it. He never jokes smiles or laugh, though he knows when to play a role for the sake of diplomacy. He has no fear due to his nature and clan beliefs that fear equals death, so as a child it was put into his head to not fear death.

Clan Information

• Kekkei Genkai: Volcanus Eye

• Description: This clan has a special ability that allows them to be very in tuned with nature. This makes them very sensitive to the things that go on around them making them very hard to approach without their knowing. They are also a Kenjutsu specialist clan with a ability to swing thier blades at a super fast rate. *explained in more detail below*. The upbringing of the youth is also a big factor, at the age of five the parents would place 10lb weights equal to the age of the child age on both arms, legs, and a vest ( 5 years x 10lb = 50lb). This allows them to be able to perform powerful and speedy swings with very little effort. Before the child is put into academy they are trained in basic Kenjutsu and taught about many different cultures. They are firm believers that the clan future is in the hands of the youth so they make sure the children are all strong physically as well as mentally.

• Special Effect: The skills of the Basilisk eye are quite numerous, the most dominant is the skill to cause the enemies chakra to run rampant without the users knowledge then once the enemy uses a jutsu that requires chakra it will back fire. The eyes though can be activated without using the skill itself, if the character chooses. The second is the nature sense ability that allows the user to sense any abnormalities in the wild. These skills will be further explained below:

-Chakra Disruption- This is a skill granted only to the few who are born with the ability of the Volcanus Eye. The user activates the eye and he must have eye contact at least once while activated. Once this is done the chakra in the enemies body start to rebel against the enemy, once a jutsu is used it back fires causing damage equal to the rank of the jutsu used. The only way to avoid this ability is to not make eye contact with Basilisk. This skill can only be used 10 times all together (topic to topic included) then Basilisk must rest for an entire topic (1000 words). If this is not done and the eye is used a 11th time Basilisk will be reduced to permanent blindness and unless a character with skills that can fix it, will remain that way for the entire time of his existence. After each individual time it is used, the Basilisk will be reduced to a temporary blindness lasting 1 post.

-Nature Sense-This is the clans personal skill that makes them excel as a sensory ninja. The clan is very in-tuned with nature, this inturned allows them to recognize when something is out of place in the wild. Being around nothing but nature since birth the clan learns to recognize abnormal chakra in the area. This means that if the enemy is not a animal, plant, or any other form of wildlife the clan can easily recognize the person.

-Dance of Winds- The clan main element is wind, they can use the wind fof sending messages or using them in battle. This skill allows them them to use the clans personal Kenjutsu fighting style, Dance of Wind. (meaning no wind jutsu require hand signs)

-Chakra Pool- Those born with the Volcanus eye have a unnatural supply of chakra compared to a average ninja, it ranges from 5%-20%. This is as stated only to those born with the Volcanus other clans member do not benefit from this.

RP Sample/History

The day was hot as normal, Ragnarok sat against a tree, the wind blowing his hair which irritated him. He puffed a bit of smoke in the air from the cigarette in his mouth. Everything pissed him off in some way or another so he was always angry. He moved his hair and turned so that the wind wouldnt blow his hair in his face again. The sun beamed down making him take off his black jacket and slung it over his shoulder. He had to get to the next village soon to revamp his food and water. It was a bit hard however being he was wanted as a missing ninja. He really didnt care however whats a few more to the list of dead people he already killed. He finished his cigarette and flicked it into a nearby woods. He was a bit tired and some rest would do him some good, but he had been on the run since his little fun trip into Suna. He had killed the follower he had trailing him, he winced a bit at the pain on his arm. That sneaky bastard caught him a bit off guard and got a good hit off him. He got more angry now and he wanted kill something, he stomped a nearby plant. That didnt make him feel any better at all and he cussed under his breath.

He arrived at the location a small little port town called, Sea Shore. " What a dumb ass name for a town", he yelled as he entered. He saw a lot of kids playing and people coming and going. Not wanting to be around these people anymore than he had to,he got himself some food and made his way out again. He didnt have a particular location to go to, but he couldnt resist the urge to keep going in this direction. He assumed that if his body really wanted to go that way there had to be something there of some significance. He put on his jacket as the wind picked up again, he would find a nice tree or something to sleep by and continue in the morning. The soon left its foot prints across the sky and the moon slowly made its way to cover them. He hoped he would be able to get a decent sleep, no telling what tomorrow had in store for him.

History:

Golden Boy Of Ragu (Birth-Genin)

The land knew peace or so the people thought, Clan Isaruu however held no illusion of this idea. They believed that preparation for the future is the best way to ensure survival. They trained day in and out so that the clan would always be prepared for war at a moments notice, not even the children were excluded from this. From the time they are able to walk and talk they're training would start, there are however special cases that some receive special training. Only a select few are born with this trait known as the, Volcanus, this is a dangerous skill if not taught to use properly so special teachers from the clan are present to train these few how do use it. One day a family of the clan, bore a son who held this trait his name was Yukimura. His father, Muramasa Ragu one of the most prestigious ninja from the clan, was very proud that his son was born with the trait he could never have. "The Ragu house is blessed with a Volcanus, i am over joyed," he said grinning from ear to ear. Yukina, the mother scoffed at the comment,"Is that all you care about, i would think being a father for the first time would mean more," she rolled her eyes and smiled at the baby. "What would be a good name, my dear," she asked playing with the baby as it cooed. "I think we should honor both our names in his name, seeing that he is our first born," he said now leaning over so that he could play with the baby as well, while Yukina held him in her arms. "I have a good name then, how about Yukimura," she said turning to Muramasa. He smiled back at her," A wonderful name," he said still looking at his son,"Yukimura Ragu, welcome my son." Yukimura blinked at them both, once his name was said he smiled and laughed, he too agreed that this was a wonderful name it seemed.
The years since his birth passed almost regularly, but for him it seemed to last forever. He was born with a rare trait in the clan the Volcanus eye. This meant he was to be trained harder than any other in the clan, which from what he could tell was hard from the start, the extra work made it worse. He never complained though, from birth he was taught that he was considered a precious gem to the clan like a diamond, his father refereed to him as coal however saying things like,"Your a precious coal my son, it is up to us to turn you into a diamond." Yukimura, now 7 was not keen on the idea of being coal, but he let his father say what he wished. He was considered the golden boy of the clan, he was very smart, physical fit, and friendly to all he met. It was upon his fathers request that he be sent to the academy earlier then upon his return train with the clan. This provided him with little time to socialize with others his age, unless they were in his class. He didn't mind though, he was taught that such focus meant he showed promise, he didnt want to let his family down so he trained harder. He spent only a year in Academy before he was starting to get recommendation to be a genin by his teachers and others who knew him. They refereed to him as a genius, and that he was wasting time in this place; he could better grow as a genin. He didn't think himself a genius, though whenever he said this it only made things worse; they would respond saying thing like," He is very humble as well all the more reason to elevate him to genin." Finally they decided to test him on all the academy level jutsu, he was fine with this its not like it was hard to do anyway. He passed this test with ease and was granted the right to be a ninja and received his head band. He was now a genin, but this meant only he had to work harder now; his day was celebrated with the birth of his younger brother, Domino. The family celebrated the birth of Domino as well as Yukimura's graduation from academy. Some were shocked that he was so young graduating, but those who knew him were not surprised. "As to be expected from the genius of the Ragu clan," one said and agreed. Yukimura grinned nervously," It isn't my day lets all celebrate to my new brother, mine can wait its Domino's homecoming after all," he said and everyone complied.

Exams and Friends (Chunin)

Yukimura abilities grew on a daily basis in the past 2, he and his squad performed well on every mission given to them. In some cases they weer even sent on ranking mission that were suppose to be to difficult for them and still they succeeded. The Chunin exams grew closer and this year it was being held in Suna, many of the allies would send their genin for a chance to compete, but Yukimura and his squad were the one assumed that will take the win. Yukimura sat in the park district of suna where the only trees grow and flourish. He liked being here it was a change of pace from the constant training and missions. He thought about what the chunin exams would present, he knew better than to underestimate people, even amongst flowers there are some with thorns. He was brought back to reality when his best friend Daravon approached,"Don't tell me your over here crying," he said jokingly. Daravon was 2 years older than Yukimura and always like this he like to trash talk but it was mostly harmless, all in all he was a good person and a trusted friend. "I wasn't crying till i saw armadillo walking on two feet, oh wait that was you," Yukimura responded standing up. They had a hand shake they did where they cross arms in a "X" manner, they did so as Daravon spoke," Oh the snake is showing his fangs i see," he laughed,"Careful not to bite your tongue brother." Daravon was from the same clan as Yukimura, so the clan often times refereed to thier best friends as brother or sister. "I will be sure to keep that in check, so whats the word," he asked, he sent Daravon to find out the details about the exam."Nothing we can't handly, its a survival exercise, though death is possible, i heard that only 15 people will pass,"he said. "So that means 5 teams will pass," he assumed. "Not exactly, seeing that 30 people are going in, the first 15 people to make it pass. So should you and not make it I could still pass," he explained walking over to the bench, he put his feet on the seat and sat on the back rest portion of the the bench. "How interesting, any news from Shara yet," Yukimura asked sitting back down. "You know here she is fussing over her hair again or something girlie like that," Daravon answred chuckling. He was about to make another joke when he fell face first off the bench," Ow what the hell," he said turning around to see Shara. "Still talking about me behind my back you dumb shit," she said shaking her fist at Daravon. Shara was a cute little red head, though her sour attitude and vulgar language kinda took away from her looks. She to was 2 more older than Yukimura as well. "Crazy girl, it was a joke take it easy," he said standing up cleaning dust from his clothes. "Thats your damn problem you play you much, i have half a mind to pound some maturity into your ass," she cracking her knuckles. "Take it easy you two," Yukimura said half smiling,"If i didn't know any better i would say you two might have a thing for one another." Shara looked at Yukimura with a demonic like gaze," Unless you want your ass kicked to Yukimura i suggest you shut it," she said. Yukimura smiled at her and looked away. Daravon and Shara argued more until thier sensei showed up. "Well good to see you all are getting along," he said walking over. Shara who by now had Daravon in a headlock looked up," Oh Gian Sensei, nice of you to stop by," she said still not releasing Daravon. "Let him go girl, he is blue in the face," Gian said in a casual manner. She let him go and he gasped for breath,"You... Crazy.....Bitch...," he manage to get out while trying to catch his breath. "A bitch am I maybe i should finish what i started," she said glaring at him. "Enough guys geez, what have you came for sensei," Yukimura said. "Yes the test is about to begin it seems all this foolign around made you guys late, now hurry and get there before it starts without you," Gian said. The three nodded and headed off, anytime they had business to handle they all change into a serious unit, regardless of personal feelings they never let it get in the way of what needed to be done; and right now the exams needed thier attention.

They arrived in time for the explanation, though thanks to Daravon they had the details already. They were given a location to start and prepared themselves. "Ok just a review, Shara handles Taijutsu so she is first attack, Yukimura is her back up so you stay back and watch the area, i will remain centered so that i can help either of you at any time," Daravon said he always did this just to make sure everyone had thier positions. "We know this already idiot, we have done this before," Shara said, they were used to this so hey never argued with her during a mission. Yukimura nodded to Daravon and they all headed off when the signal was given. The area was a large underground training facility now abandoned, it was about the size of a town and had numerous old buildings and overgrowth. The cared little though the had thier objective and nothing would stop them. The test took many hours and many were killed rather than injured, Daravon himself had lost a eye, Shara had numerous cuts on her body, and Yukimura was going partial blind and had been struck by numerous kunai from an enemy ambush. They manage to be one of the last 15 people and received thier new rank. They were given a speech by the Kazekage and afterward given leave to go home. They all celebrated with thier sensei and went separate ways, except Shara and Yukimura who had to walk the same way. "You did well for a fragile ninja," she said putting her arms around him. "You didn't do so bad either, for a loud mouth barbarian," he said laughing. "I prefer the term outspoken amazon," she said giggling with him. "What ever floats your boat," he said as they stopped at her house. "Today we are chunin, that means harder missions, think your up for it," she asked as she turn toward her house. "We have no choice, but with me, you , and daravon nothing will be to difficult," he said smiling at her. "We'll see ya kid," she said as she walked in the house. He chuckled again and left for his home, he knew his parents waited for him along with his little brother. He looked into the sky, the sun was making its decent and the moon peaked over the land. "Indeed this is a new chapter of my life, I hope i can endure any hardships that come with the new."

Promotion: Boy to Man, Son to Father, Chunin to Jounin

The had once again passed regularly, and Yukimura had become renown for his skill as a ninja. He spent 9 years a chunin, though he didn't mind he prefered the slow pace of a chunin, Kitaira, his and Shara child. Shara had died giving birth to Kitaira and not to long after Daravon died as well. Daravon had died during a mission where he was in another team, this put Yukimura in a slump for a long time, had it not been for his responsibilities as a father, he would still be moody. After a years time, Yukimura had become a jounin and started his journey to carve a name for himself in history. He took on any mission given to him, most time he was alone. After many of his accolades, Yukimura was offered the position as body guard to the Kazekage which he graciously accepted. He returned home to his family and told them the news, his younger sister who was born not long after his promotion to chunin, greeted him, first. The rest of the family greeted afterward, Yukimura was a little happier now with this promotion. He now had all the time he wanted to be with his daughter and family, now.
