    Mission: [Escort?: Important Daimyo!]

It was oddly hazy that day, usually around morning in the Mist Village it seemed the brightest, but now it appeared night. The thick coat of mist seemed murkier then every, it blocked the sun like a shield and a sword. There was very little light in the village outskirts, but luckily there were small candles embedded in the stone. The outskirts of Kirigakure were one of the most scariest to be, with wooden planks and a deep ocean right next to you. If you were on the outskirts you would understand, one side was a stone wall that reached for beyond what you can see, and the other was the ocean. In between both of them was a wooden bridge covered in mist. It was a suspicious time indeed for Daimyo and Zumi as they both stand there ready to walk. Zumi had been assigned a mission, he was to escort Daimyo to his home “safely”. Yup that's right, it seems Daimyo has some unwanted friends that wants some lunch money, or worse. But Zumi wasn't scared, he will protect this man and slaughter anyone who gets in his way.

Are you prepared to departure?” Zumi asked the man. Daimyo was a rather old man, having a full white beard that reached to his belly and wrinkly skin. He also wore a long brown robe and sandals. He was a elder in the village, for that Zumi was sure. Zumi whore his long sleeved blue shirt, long black jacket, sandals and sweat pants. But all of those would be nothing without his trade mark sword and scroll which he brought also. “Yes.... yes young man, let us go.” He said with a long drown out sigh. Zumi nodded his head in understandment and they both began to slowly walk down the bridge. Every step seemed eternal, not knowing what may happen at any given time. Zumi walked very calmly, he didn't show any kind of emotion. His steps were light and short with both hands swinging on his sides. He tried to appear as casual as possible. As they continued to walk, Daimyo decided to start a conversation. “So um... hows life going for ya?” He asked while looking around nonchalant. Zumi raised his eyebrow, and folded his hands behind his head. “Well I recently got promoted to Jounin, and now everything is different.” He said. “How so?” Daimyo asked curiously while facing his direction. 'Well the missions are more difficult, I have new connections, and I get to travel a bit more.” Zumi said while still walking. Daimyo smirked. “Well young man... ugh Zumi, if you keep it up the reward for caring for your village will be something you don't expect.” He said with a boastful laugh. “Yeah! I can be a old man who has people trying to kill him!” Zumi said sarcastically. Daimyo stopped laughing and rolled his eyes.

Going deeper in the mist Zumi's intuition sesned that danger was afoot. “Wait.” He said placing his hand on Daimyo's chest to stop him. Doing a few hand signs he did a seal and held it. “Ninja Art: Heat Seeker!” He said while opening his eyes. His view was now different, instead of seeing surfaces he saw heat. Surely enough there were three ninja climbing on the wall, two of them coming from the ocean and one coming from ahead. All of them looked like red dots getting closer and closer. A battle was about take place, but Zumi had to protect Daimyo. Luckily there was a small rock that would provide cover for Daimyo near the stone wall beside them. “Go, hide!” With that he ran towards the rocks and hid. Now Zumi was standing there on the middle of the bridge, placing his hand on his sword he was ready for action. From the mist he heard sharp screams from all around him. They were dozens of shuricken in all directions. “Lets go!” He screamed!

As the many shurickens came at his direction, he concentrated and molded his Magma Chakra. Swiftly grabbing his sword and he swung it around his body. In moments magma started to rotate around him and creating a barrier that was guided by his sword. The magma swirled and danced around him like a whirl wind. As the shurickens hit the magma barrier they quickly melted due to the extreme heat. Turning around and spinning he whirled his sword around and decimated the rest of the shurickens from all around him. Stopping his rotation and coming to a rest, Zumi eyes looked at the wall and saw two wandering ninja running on the wall. “Lets dance-” He said while extending his left arm. As the two ninja jumped down from the stone wall, in midair Zumi decided to strike them. “Ninja Art: Acid Slug Assault.” He said as two large slugs slithered out of his hands and launch themselves at the ninja, who were in the air. In moments the slugs wrapped themselves around them both while they were now suspended in the air. “What the?” One of them said with a horrified look on his face. Within moments they started to burn and the slugs acid slime took affect. They both screamed in pain and soon they were nothing but a skeleton with deteriorated meat on it.

You bastard!” A women said as she ran towards Zumi on the ocean. Her and another were running on the water at Zumi, and it appeared to she was angry that Zumi killed her kin. Retrieving the slugs back into his sleeves he jumped in the water and ran towards them both. Grabbing his sword he prepared for the encounter as both ninja ran towards him with kunai in his hands. Now close, Zumi flipped over both and grabbed his sword. Both of them turned around slowly in amazement of how fast he was. The ninja were wearing familiar uniforms to Zumi, gray flat jackets with a kimono underneath. Sumi stood there with his sword out, anticipating their next move. One of them did a few hand signs and created a wave that surged at Zumi. “Suiton?” Zumi said while whipping out his Grand Scroll from behind him. Quickly summoning a explosive note he placed it on the water and slowly watched it burn in preparation to explode. Wrapping the scroll back up in one motion he jumped back while only had a few seconds before the giant wave hit him. “Katon: Great Dragon Fire.” As he did this he blew a destructive fireball at the wave. When the wave was a few meters from Zumi the explode tag activated and disrupted the center of the wave. When the water was slowly reverting back the fireball hit the weak spot and busted threw the wave. Zumi took that opportunity and ran threw the wave and at both of them. Before they were able to do hand signs Zumi took his sword out and fused it with Magma chakra. Jolting forward he lunged the sword at one of them and cut right threw her. She tried to protect herself with kunai but the sword melted threw it. The other one jumped back a few feet to avoid the attack and succeeded. Not giving her time to react Zumi took his sword and placed it in front of him. Magma slowly circulated around it and he swung it in her direction. A whip of lava launch at her and hit her directly. Her eyes widened in shock and the magma quickly went threw her. Sinking in the water steam quickly came out of her body while she disappeared into the depths.

Two down, one to go.” He said while looking back the bridge. The last member of the gang was the biggest, three times Zumi's size. He finally caught up to his location and looked around to see where his partners went. With a dumb look on his face he finally realized that they have been killed by Zumi. His wide face became blood shot red with tears in his eyes. “You kill kin, me kill you!” He said jumping on the water. Charging at Zumi, it was obvious that he was stupid and slow. In a instant Zumi flickered beside him and ran his blade threw his chest. Cutting him clean in half. A red glow came from his body from the excess magma from the sword. Sliding in half, Zumi smirked. Now the fight was finally over, and it was time to reunite with Daimyo. Walking up to the bridge and hoping on the wood, he did it all without a sweat. “Its clear Daimyo, you can come out now.” Zumi said smiling. Daimyo came out of the rock feebly, and looking around. “Good job...” He said as he took Zumi's hand to help himself up.

Continuing the walk Zumi was more cautious. The long bridge between the islands started to creek with every step him and Daimyo took. It has been about thirty minutes since they're last encounter with the thieves, but it seems like minutes ago to Zumi. Killing every single one of them Zumi probably wasted more chakra then he needed to. But everything happens for a reason, besides he was highly skilled at his age. He can probably be a good match for a Kage, at least that's what he thinks. Wiping off the water particles from his face due to the mist, he couldn't wait to arrive to the Snowy Village and finish this mission. He looked at the man, calmly walking like everything was fine. Zumi rolled his eyes at him, not caring that at any moment he could die. Although his chance of death was very slim since Zumi was there, at least he could have cared. Daimyo yawned, it was around evening and it had been a long walk. Zumi eyes drifted to the ocean that was beside them. Although dark it was beautiful, sparkling tides and a mysterious appearance. Along with its looks whenever the wind picked up it carried the scent of salt from the ocean, what a lovely smell that was.

Randomly the mist started to disperse, it scattered in all directions like a horrified cat. “Wha?” Daimyo said as they both stopped. Looking up above them the mist was creating a dome, and sun shine came down on the bridge. It was magnificent, but suspecting. Revealing the full bridge Zumi saw the image of a man across the bridge. He was clearer then day, but what caught Zumi's attention was what he was wearing. He was wearing a red kimono with a samurai sword. Chakra ran down the sword making it glow a faint blue color. Zumi sensed that he was strong, and also that he wanted to kill Daimyo. “Stay back.” He said while Daimyo took a few steps backwards. Taking out his sword, Zumi placed it by his side. Both Zumi and the mysterious man made eye contact, and in a split second they both moved. Both flickered to the center of the bridge with blades together. “Hes almost just as fast as me!” Zumi thought while trying to force his blade threw his. Channeling his magma chakra he ran it threw his blade as it slowly glowed orange. Like wise, the Samurai did the same, but his was some strange chakra. Surprisingly, Zumi's blade didn't melt threw his, his sword was to dense, probably due to his chakra. In a second his blade slid off of Zumi's and both of them did sessions of slashes and sweeps. This went on for awhile, then both of them jumped back.

Doing a few hand signs he blew multiple fireballs at the Samurai before he could react. He dodged them all as intended, but what he didn't know was weapons were inside of them. As the fire dispesed they were revealed and all of them were attached to wires. Making a thrusting motion with his hand he called the weapons back and some of them entangled the Samurai. Breaking some of the strings with his chakra it wasn't long before he was released. Acting quickly Zumi did a few more hand signs and blew a stream of fire on the wire and directly at him. Still immobile, he was torched by the fire attack and severly burned. Kneeling down, Zumi walked up to him. The fight was over, although stronger then the rest of his gang he was no match for Zumi. Unsheathing his blade Zumi placed his sword on his head. “Please....” He said wearily while his life slowly faded away. For a moment Zumi stood there. Placing his blade back in its sheath, he nudged Daimyo to come. In moments he ran up to Sumi, and both of them walked over the body of the Samurai.

Finally entering the village, the mission was finally complete. Taking the first step into the snow, it was a peaceful experience for Zumi. The crunchy feeling and the beauty of it never got old for Zumi, even living in the Mist Village. Staring down the snow covered path, he saw tall white buildings and candle light illuminating the village. Zumi was starting to get a little tired, although he never showed it. “We're here!” Daimyo said while spinning around in joy. Snow started coming down even harder, night was coming and cool breezes started to get more intense. Zumi smiled, it was a short mission compared to others, and very enjoyable. He got to defeat some thieves and visit the Snowy Village after a long time. Walking down the path the snow started to get deeper and deeper as it started to build up. Luckily the village entrance was close and then we will be able to escape the blizzard. Walking threw the gates the sound of doors closing and merchants relieved Zumi. Even though it wasn't much it wasn't the sound of blades and screams. After a few minutes of walking they both stopped at a rather large house in the center of the village. The house was amazing, three stories, wood, many windows and guards. “Lets go in, don't want to freeze the death heh.” He as they walked up the steps. “Its a beautiful home Daimyo.” Zumi said generally while removing his hood. “Oh hush, you need to take a rest, its been a long journey and your probably tired.” He said as he opened the door.

Both of them entered the house, a nice warm feeling from the candles was amazing to Zumi. Both of them removed their coats and placed them on the racks. Daimyo pulled a chair out for Zumi, while he sat on the chair across from him. The dining room was epic. With scrolls and armor around the edges, almost like a museum. The table was located in the center of this room, big and golden. “Would you like some tea?” Daimyo asked while pointing at the tea set in the middle. Nodding his head Zumi poured him some tea and took a sip. Both of them started having conversations and for the first time, Zumi felt relaxed.
